Safety
The Members of Karate Alberta are committed to providing a safe environment for training and competition. The Coaching Certification process guarantees that all certified coaches are aware of injury management, from prevention to first aid. The sparring competitions are non-contact, and proper safety equipment is mandatory for all competitors. A physician or emergency medical technicians attend all Association tournaments. A sport insurance policy is included with memberships provided through the Karate Alberta Association .
